This bad boy has a Big Block 454, Automatic Transmission, 12 Bolt Posi with 355 Gear ratio. And now check out this! This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, that started life as a small block car and was originally a color code (26) which equals one of the most popular t colors for these Muscle cars! It was and is called Mulsanne Blue! The paint job on the car was estimated to be completed about 6-7 years ago. Has a great relection and shine to it.The Sheetmetal on the car appears to be 90% original. The drivers and passangers side upper 1/4 panels are all original sheetmetal to this car, The drivers side & passengers was redone at the time of the paint job, metal was replaced properly as you can see in my photos. Black SS stripes were added at the time as well. All of the Chrome on the Chevelle is in really good condition. The black grill/emblems/bezels/stainless trim and glass is also in good condition. So some of the history on this car was that it was built in in Kansas City, Missouri and spent most of its like in the southern part of the country, in 2017 in was purchased and brought to Illinios and used for car shows and cruise nights. Has a nice reliable Big block 454 Engine with chevrolet aluminum intake a 4 barrel Holley Carburator (tuned perfectly) A set of Hooker headers were added for extra horsepower and make this Big block breathe better and smoother. Also has factory power steering and power brakes as well. All new hoses were added along with newer Duralast battery/new alternator/new waterpump and a radiator with dual electric fans to keep the beast kool on hot summer days. Recently added Chevrolet big block black valve covers and black air intake for a cool crisp look under the hood. Wipers now do work excellent. This engine has less than 5000 miles along with its Automatic Transmission that shifts excellent thru all gears. The rear 12 bolt unit is excellent as well and backed up by 3:55 gear ratio in which is an excellent recipe for long highway or touring across the country, This Chevelle is a factory Air Conditioned vehicle and i do all the parts to be put back together if you decide to do so (see pics). The suspension was gone thru at the time as well, This car does not make a squeek going down the open road. Has 15" rally wheels with caps all around with a great set ofBf Goodrich radial Ta's, the rears are 275/60/15 to give this beast an awesome stance. I also have 2 new side door mirrors to go with the car. The interior is really clean and factory appearance with a black bench seat recovered with nice black door panels/dash pad/headliner/package tray with (2) 6x9 speakers. Showing on the odometer is 52,677 miles and believe to be original to the car. The orignal cluster shows very well and all gauges function as they should. The RPM tach was added at the time of the 454. Also added was a Pioneer stereo with added power amplifier and kicker woofer box in the trunk and a seperate bass controller added below the lighter. then also (2) more speakers were added in the kick panels in the front. I even have the dome light to work on this baby! The trunk is all metal and looks great as well. I have a clear title in hand and will be sold as a private seller.
