Selling my 1971 Chevy Cheyenne. Long bed. I am located in Massachusetts. This truck came from North Carolina. From what I can see it looks like original paint. There are nicks, scratches on body and in bed of truck. It’s not a show truck. It is a cruiser. 70mph on highway no problem. Something to take to cruise nights or drive on the weekends or restore yourself. I bought this truck this year the same time I bought a new home. Here’s your chance to get this truck for a great price!, My loss is your gain!, I love this truck and get thumbs up and compliments every time I’m out in it. The new home is forcing me to sell. Since I’ve owned it I’ve done a few things to it...20” American racing torque thrust wheels and tires. They are like new!All the badges newAll the lights led new. (Halo headlights)Original am radio like new(not wired)Floor mats newDash pad new (not installed)Bed mat newDash cluster newChrome dash parts newTailgate wood grain trim newI also have a new black trim in boxHad the transmission pan gasket doneIt has a new gas tank, new exhaust (Lou’s), Eddlebrock valve covers, air cleaner etc.The brakes are discs up front and drums in rear. They work great. Truck starts no problem, drives straight and stops fine. Power Steering is great! Smooth. The exhaust sounds awesome! This Cheyenne is not a true “super” I put the badges on because I liked the look. They are mounted with 3m tape so they can be removed if wanted. When I got the truck it had a bed liner. I removed it and put the mat down. The bed is in great shape for a 71. There is some rot around wheel wells but to be expected. Not that bad. Frane looks good with no rot. Southern truck. I haven’t even cleaned or buffed out inside of bed or rest of truck. It has a small oil leak. Not bad. Slow slow drip. It has two spots on bottom of each door where rust is bubbling. It has spot on paint under gas cap from gas spilling on truck. From years ago. Mileage looks inaccurate. Have paperwork from previous owner. Could use new battery too. I keep it on a tender and drive it on the weekends. The heat works awesome. It has AC. I haven’t used it. Sure it could be charged. I’ve had a 1954 and a 1966. Trucks that were either put together or half done. This is like a Cadillac compared to them. Everything works on this truck. It starts right up and drives great! I’m not going to deal with bs so please know what you are bidding on. Again this is not a perfect show truck. This is a truck from 1971 which I think is in great condition for the year. Truck is Being sold as is. No returns. Clean clear title in hand. Happy to answer any questions. As long as they are reasonable. Thanks! |
