CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Our 1959 Cadillac series 62 Coupe up for sale..It’s a Very special Cadillac. It was bought by a WW ll Bomber pilot. And what makes it even more special is where he purchased it from; Hillcrest Cadillac, in Beverly Hills California! The same Cadillac dealer that Elvis Presley bought all his Cadillacs from! We have ALL the Original documents when the original owner purchased it brand new in February 1959!True All original paint! No no do! You’re looking at the original paint. We hate to sell it, but we’ll probably never get to it, so I’ve put it up for sale, in hopes that someone will restore it and put her back on the road, where it belongs..It did start and run about a year ago, but we took off the original carb and had it professionally rebuilt, and haven’t put it back on, because we wanted to drop and clean the gas tank first. The brakes are bad, so we ordered new ac Delco replacements(which are included). It comes with some extra oem stuff as seen in the pictures. This car must of been a sight to see in its hay day, Inverness green top, and white on the bottom, with the Inverness green and black interior! ALL the glass is perfect condition and the all the power windows go up and down. And the fog light option and all the rest of the lights work. The power seat works off and on. This car is pretty much complete, minus the spare tire. The Caddy is VERY Solid. See the underside and inside floor pans. The only rot is down on the bottom front fenders, which is typical on these caddy’s and a couple very small pin holes on the drivers side floor, that’s it! The chrome bumpers are in beautiful shape, and have NO pitting, just need some buffing..If you have any questions, please ask before making an offer. And if you offer a ridiculous low offer, we just ignore It.. Please only serious people with serious offers. We thank you.. Now for the bla bla stuff; A $500.0 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours after close of auction. The remainder is dues within 3 business days after. It is the buyers responsibility to provide shipping. The car is being sold as is, with no warranty (obviously it’s over 60 years old), sorry we had to say that. We will store the car up to 30 days for free. After that it becomes a storage fee($100.00 a month after that). Please have your funds in order. We will help contact a shipper if needed, but there is A lot of transport companies out there to choose from. Do your homework on finding one first, it will pay off.. Happy bidding!!!
