CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Very solid 65 Chevelle Malibu, not SS, car with good paint, needs finished and assembled, many parts are missing. what you see is what you get. The hard work is done just needs assembled. Although many parts are missing, at this point most of these parts would need to be replaced with new anyhow. I didn't do this work but I can tell you what I see. Has front disc brakes, some new rubber weather-stripping and window fuzzies. No windshield, have rear, door and quarter glass. 10 bolt rear, 14x 7 rally wheels tires have good tread.BODY: Very original body, incredibly solid, original floors, trunk, rockers, maybe rh quarter, lh quarter and drivers door were replaced. looks like a small metal patch under the gas pedal area. trunk has a flat patch over a baseball sized hole (see picture) (I would remove the trunk patch and cut the rust out if I were keeping it.) Great frame. The story is that it was painted 5 years ago, brought home and never finished. has a 4" cowl Glassteck hood (full frame bolt on) these are $579. Paint is really good but not show quality, needs wet sanded and buffed out after you assemble it. Only bad thing about paint is that they chipped the paint at front of drivers door when putting on fender. ENGINE: I was told it was a good running 454 but it turns out to be a 366, 4 bolt mains, steel 427 crank. I cant verify how it runs. Engine just set down in place not running. You will need to replace oil pan, I took truck oil pan and oil pump pickup off, and put on a rough passenger car oil pan to sit engine in car. has new motor/trans mounts. Nothing is hooked up. 750 Holley 3310. Powerglide transmission with converter (condition unknown), no flexplate. If you are serious, you may ask questions, I'm sure I forgot some things. Please don't waste my time. Considering that most over all paint jobs are about $10,000 now, I think this is a very good value.
