I’m listing this car for a friend. I will put serious buyers in touch with him to answer any questions I cannot. Beautiful 1967 Porsche 911S, black on black, numbers matching per COA. Present owner (retired Porsche Master Tech –air cooled specialist shop owner from ’76-‘16) serviced the car for the previous owner from ’81 until he purchased it in ’97. Older restoration (repainted with single stage in ’98). No accident damage or body filler. All original sheet metal and pans except front pan (should have been repaired vs. replaced; only a tennis ball size hole from battery acid). Webasto heater is not currently installed but is complete and included.Engine rebuilt in ’97 (had never been apart prior). Original pistons & cylinders; have repairorder on rebuild. Upgrades included later rocker arms/bushings, SC chain tensioners, 930 valve guides, 11-bolt camcovers (have original 6-bolt covers). Less than 1,200 miles have been put on the carsince then. Original Weber carbs wererebuilt a few years ago. Other items upgraded and/or not original to the car: KYB gas shocks, ’69 Fuch alloys, ’69 Blaupunkt radio and antenna, right side mirror, wood steering wheel (original leather wrapped wheel included), Bosch fog lights, ’69-’70 Bosch CD box, and stainless steel heat exchangers. Last month a new master cylinder, new front calipers and rebuilt S rear calipers were installed.Paint still shows well for its age. Windshield and rear glass seals are showing age and that's really all that should be done to this car. The engine pulls strong and the car drives out great. I’ve known this car since 1999 and it has only been outside a few times each year to car shows.Not many of these made and rarely do you see a ’67 S for sale.
