| 1962 Ford Fairlane 500, 4.3L (260 cui) v8 automatic with 330,000 miles, but 100,000 ish on the engine, less on the transmission. Would run well if the fuel line was cleaned out and the fuel in the tank replaced, fuel filter replaced. The original engine, a 3.6L (221 cui) v8, was rebuilt around 1978. A long block was put in and original attachments put back on, so it is now a 4.3L v8 engine. Please see pictures or inquire for more details. The tires probably need air or to be replaced. The driver side door doesn't close all the way, so that needs to be fixed. There was a wind storm a year or so ago that unfortunately caused a branch to fall and hit the top of the car, denting the roof and cracking the windshield, see picture. The inside could use an overhaul, inside roof needs to be sealed and perhaps redone. Back seat is ok, front seat has had that "gash" in it forever that should be fixed. Other than that the car can certainly run. It's been kept in running condition throughout the years until recently. The fuel needs to be cleaned out and filter, fuel line. It has also been sitting around for a year or two, so the car battery will probably need to be replaced. Buyer should be able to pick it up or tow it, due to the car not being able to run at the moment. Please don't hesitate to ask more questions. Thank you. | |
