Very reliable, fresh rings, rod bearings, & a valve job last month. For a 1959 car, probably as sorted as you will find. No rust to speak of, a reasonable enamel paint job, all systems & gauges work. Brand new Michellin X tires, & straightened & powder coated rims too. Great door feel when they close! A drum brake car with a non syncro 1st gear, it motors along nicely at 65 to 70+ on the freeway. Delightfully light steering in town, very supple over rough pavement & railroad tracks. I have kept it and enjoyed fine tuning it and fixing anything I have found needing attention. Thanks for looking! |
