This El Camino came from Arizona and spent the last 17 years in SoCal. It has factory air, not working but all parts properly installed by ASE Master Mechanic, never added R12 freon, has new compressor and condenser, factory tilt wheel, factory gages, tinted glass, power brakes and steering. I had a professionally build 383 stroker installed by Don's Engines, well know Pomona, CA builder. Has an AAMCO built Turbo 400 trans, Hurst Auto Stick with 4 Speed Console. All door rubbers replaced, bumper rechromed. Original spare tire, jack and lug wrench. Bed is not all dented up but does have minor dents. This truck only has 48,724 actual miles. When I bought it in 2002, it has the original Arizona Title showing actual miles of 41,385. I have copy of that title. Truck came from the factory white with blue interior. That was changed before I bought it. Also has a factory big block hood, not after market. Hood grilles show some pitting. Has Hotchkis springs all around that lowers the truck about an inch and AirLift airbags in rear. Check out the owners manual and AZ Plate that goes with it.The engine and light wiring harnesses were replaced with M&H Wiring Harnesses, the makers of exact OEM reproduction wiring harnesses. The driver seat has a tear in the stitching from someone's knee. Passenger seat perfect. Seat belts are perfect. Also has Custom Sound Audio radio. Just installed a new Jet Performance Quadrajet carburator with electric choke. That was another $500 from Summitt. It is showing rust on each rear quarter panel on the outside but backsides are near perfect, see pics of backsides. It's Arizona rust, not Michigan rust. I am a car guy, so I am explaining the condition as best as I can. It's really a great find if you are looking for one. Car is very drivable anywhere you want to go but remember, it's a 1967. I would ship it unless you live in CA, NV or AZ. I added some underside pics for those that asked. It's your typical dry Arizona under carriage. I have had questions on the wheels. They are factory 16" IROC's not aftermarket that were chrome plated about 15 years ago. The ones that say Front and Rear on them. The plating is coming loose. I placed a large piece of cardboard under the engine area and saw no noticable drips of any kind even after 5 days. |
