CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |

Up for bid is an unmolested number matching 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. This car came stock with a 383 cu in 335 HP Holley 4-barrel big block engine. This is an original AC car with power steering, heavy duty automatic transmission with an 8.75 rear end. This is a rare bucket seat car with a center console w/wood grain panel. I was able to get the engine to turn over by putting a hot wire from the battery directly to the positive side of the coil. I was unable to get the engine to turn over by the ignition switch. I then used a screw driver to jumped the starter solenoid the engine turned over and hit a few times but didn’t start. It has 4-wheel drum brakes with no brakes. The body will need work. The frame rails are in very good shape, rear quarters, inner wheels, rear deck panel, truck floor, truck lid, hood, passengers side rocker panel has a small area of rust, floor pans /truck floor has stops of rust and will need to be replaced. The roof/A pillars are good. It also needs a rear window and left quarter glass. The other windows are stiff so I didn’t try to roll them down. This car does come with a set of 14" OE Mopar rallies. This car is being sold AS IS restoration project No Title sold with bill of sale. Please asked all questions before bidding. If you have less than a 25-eBay feedback score please contact me before bidding. Theirs a $500 none refundable deposit due immediately at auction end. Happy Bidding! |
