CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |

I did not plan on selling this car, but I found a car I've been for awhile now, so this needs to go. 1967 Mercedes 200D 4 speed manual. All original. It runs and drives just like a mercedes should. Seats are a 7/10. Overall they are in great shape. But there are about two punctures which were previously fixed. Then engine starts up after about 2-3 compression strokes everytime. Extremely healthy motor. Goes in every gear smoothly. Brand new Hankook whitewall tires. There body is in great shape. Other than the paint. It looks good in the pictures, but the paint is cracked on every panel, there was touch up paint done on the front of the car. Looks as if someone used household white paint to do it. The roof has severe peeling paint. There is surface surface rust, but no holes/rot anywhere on the car. So I'll say the paint is 3/10The wiring harness also needs attention. When I bought the car, part of the wiring harness was cut in the engine bay and removed from the car. It was for the headlights, front turn signals, alternator, and windshield wipers. I'm not sure why it was cut, but I temporarily rewired everything to see what worked and what did not. Everything works. Now it just needs some solder and wire protection from the heat. I'll made this listing with pictures I had on my phone. Later tonight I'll take better pictures. |
