1960 Pontiac 2 Door Sport Sedan. It has the original numbers matching motor with 91K. Clean title shows mileage as actual. 389 CU IN motor with date correct manifold and carburetors that have been rebuilt with alcohol resistant accelerator pumps. No smoke, ticks, or leaks. Original distributor was updated to a Petronix electronic ignition along with new wires, rotor, and coil. It also has reproduction 1967 Firebird cast iron headers that feed a glass pack dual exhaust system. A new hi-tork starter is installed. Brand new 700 amp battery is in with a tar top cover for originality look. Generator is freshly rebuilt. Original radiator has been freshly re-cored and runs cool. Car has been converted from an automatic to a manual 4 peed using new clutch linkage and donor pedals. It was converted very well and looks factory installed. A brand NEW Richmond Super T-10 has been installed along with a date correct bell housing, clutch, pressure plate, new ring gear on flywheel, throw out bearing, and pilot bushing. New u-joints installed in drive shaft. It has the original non-posi rear end with I think are 3.08 gears. A new dual bail master cylinder along with an adjustable proportioning valve is installed. New manual front disc brake conversion installed with new pads, rotors,,and hoses. rear brakes are drum with new shoes, wheel cylinders, and hardware. New polyurethane bushings installed in the front sway bar.New KYB adjustable shocks in front with Monroe gas shocks on the rear. Floats down the road! The car is basically a rust-free Catalina that originated in El Paso, Texas. the second owner took it to Oklahoma, Third and fourth owner were from the Pittsburgh area, then I became the fifth owner. Front clip was off the car from the fourth owner to do some work. It is a frame-on restoration. the passenger floor pan was professionally replaced with a new reproduction one. Typical dings and minor dents removed with no rust damage needing repair. 4 coats of primer shot with sealer, 3 coats of 2005 Honda Vivid Blue applied with 4 coats of clear. Matrix paint was used. Panel, doors, hood, and trunk lid gaps align very well. Stainless has been polished. New letters on hood. Grill and headlight bezels were polished with new headlights and adjusting hardware. Parking lights are new with new lenses. Front bumper and rear were triple plate chromed. Tail light bezels, outside mirror, and horn button are fresh chrome. New rear lenses with blue dots. Reverse light delate plates are NOS. Wipers are polished. All new window sweeps and all rubber on doors, trunk, hood, and rear bumper filler are NEW. Car sits on brand new American Racing "Cokebottle" wheels with Mickey Thompson tires, 225-70R15 in front and 255-60R15 in the rear. Interior has new seat covers, door panels, deck lid, rocker panels, headliner, carpet, and thresholds. New Hurst shifter and boot plate. new 3 pack gauges. New window handles armrests, and chrome armrest bases. New sun visors and day/night rear view mirror. New front seat belts installed. Car was ordered as a radio delete. It was a base model Catalina on the low end. Its only options were an automatic trans, remote control outside mirror, and a cigarette lighter. Has current Pa. inspection.All in all, it was a 2 year project a friend and I did. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this. It turned out way beyond our expectations.
