1939Oldsmobile L-39 “80” Series Sedan Coupe Honestcar with the expected scratches and dings of a car that is seventy-two (72)years old. AND STILL RUNNINGSTRONG. Recently tuned and freshenedoriginal inline straight 8 boasting 257 cubic inches and 110 horsepower with a3-speed manual non-synchromesh transmission. Builtin Michigan and purchased new in New Jersey, it made its way to the LarzAnderson Auto Museum where it was housed and admired until sold and moved toNew Hampshire. It was sold again inMarch of 2017 and moved to Massachusetts by a member of the Bay State AntiqueAuto Club. Ithas been driven about town and used in parades on nice sunny days. It receiveda third-place award for its class at the 2017 World of Wheels show in Boston,Massachusetts. Ithas an appealing black exterior with grey cloth interior! Headliner is intact and worry-free. Rear passenger side seat has some blemishesapparently from a dog scratching but otherwise sound. Driven very little since purchasedand always garaged, this Oldsmobile is Handsome. Look at Photos to see the attention todetail. Engine and Undercarriage is inexcellent condition. Thisis a real Showpiece. OriginalSteering Wheel and Column Shifter. Radiowith local station call signs! OriginalDash with operational temperature and oil pressure gauges. Thespeedometer and odometer do not work. Shows 59,931 but true mileage is unknown. Seatsand pillars are in very good condition. OriginalWheels and Hubcaps Caris registered and driven on very nice days during summer, stored in dry warmstorage in winter. Massachusettstitle is clear and in my name. OldCars Report Price Guide for September/October 2019 lists a #3 example at $13,820and a #2 at $21,490. I would say thiscar is in the middle. This car isbeing sold "as is, where is" with absolutely no warranty whatsoeverexpressed or implied.
