| 1979 VOLVO 245 DL WAGON MANUAL 4spd. w/ Overdrive. Time warp...when was the last time, one of these ole' Agnes Volvo Wagons came up for sale? A super nice and mostly original 1970's survivor... a 1979 Volvo Wagon 245 DL-Manual OD 4-speed....This is a "rust free" Southern California 1979 Volvo 245 DL Wagon 4-spd w/ overdrive. It's super dry, very solid and straight. The interior and exterior are in wonderful condition w/ the odometer showing 41,402 miles. I believe it has been and original California car w/ it's original owners living and driving here in the San Diego and Southern, California areas.However, the wagon is not perfect... it does have a few flaws, minor parking lot nicksand scraps here and there and a small area of discolored paint on the lower drivers door. Overall, it's one of the cleaner and most original looking Volvo Wagons w/ the rare 4-speed manual overdrive transmissions. It runs great, has strong compression with plenty of power, shifts quiet and smooth. This wagon shows clear evidence of smart maintenance, it looks as though it was garaged most of it's life and everything seems to operate really well.* Notes* I've been informed that the fuel injection system has been upgraded somewhere along the line to a later model fuel injection system. I was told that this newer FI system is also easier to maintain and much more reliable. The A/C, Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Electricals, Lights, Signals, Heater, all the Knobs and Switches operate. Interior shows really clean and the body has nice lines. It looks as though it was re-sprayed some time ago in the late 90's ? and the Volvo blue is a bit faded. I guess the most important information I can include...is that the body on the wagon is rust free, the undercarriage is clean and dry and still has it's original volvo dealer undercoatings. The fenders, doors, floor pans, rockers, quarter panels, spare pans, trunk areas are all original metal. The wagon also has the dealer installed Volvo Roof Rack. The original spare tire and jacking tools look like new. Car also, includes the original books and manuals and (2) sets of keys. The wagon is registered, insured and smogged certified in California w/ a clear and clean CA Title.The tires look to be in fair to good condition. They are "Pirelli" all season 195/70's mounted on the original volvo steel rims with the oem hub caps.The car is being sold in "as is" condition with no warrantees expressed or implied.
