This is a mild custom ford coupe I restored years ago. Frame has been undercoated, has a relieved 1950 Ford truck engine flathead V8 that runs good. I took it out for a drive yesterday and when I got home the transmission was locked in third gear. Three on the tree. You can still start and hear engine run. The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt one not too long ago. I am selling it as is and it will have to be trailered. Tired of the Fix Or Repair Daily routine. It has dual side exhausts with glass packs. Master cylinder and wheel cylinders were either replaced or rebuilt. Steering box was recently professionally rebuilt. Interior including headliner redone, not original. Was a great winter driver (No AC), wipers and heater worked great. Body had a lot of rust when I restored it and it does have some fiberglass work particularly the mild custom features. Paint is cheap but looks great from a distance. I have miscellaneous extra parts that go with it, mostly for the engine. A couple of water pumps, a couple of generators, etc, parts that were replaced by working ones, nothing of much value. Have an original set of wheels with tires. Local purchase and pickup no shipping! Anyone considering purchase should see vehicle in person. |
