for sale is a 1963 ford f100 2wd truck. it has the 223 cubic inch inline 6 cyl. engine. transmission is a three speed manual on the column. truck has all original paint and patina except for the RF fender. it has been replaced at some point with a rust free original fender and apinter to match. the truck still wears signs of the original lettering on the doors. it was a salesmans truck for PFISTER HYBRID CORN CO. in El Paso, IL. the lettering can still plainly be seen on both doors. it was unit #2 in their fleet as seen on the drivers side front fender and by a copper tag still on the key chain. very cool and unique history. the truck runs and drives really well. clutch is great and been recently adjusted. all lights work as do the turn signals although the turn signal switch could use being replaced. the tires are brand new and the 4 wheel drum brakes have all bee gone through and truck stops well. transmission shifts properly and linkage is smooth. engine runs great and does not smoke. it has an electric furl pump at this time, but is well hidden on a frame rail to maintain an original look. the truck is and behaves like a 56 year old truck. it has a new fuel tank and fuel level sender. all gages work. it has some rust in the usual f100 places. drivers floor mostly. passenger floor is very nice though. if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. thanks for looking! |
