Hello and Thank You for viewing my auction. You are bidding on a rare 1979 Porsche 928 Euro. It has the desirable Manual Transmission and Sunroof delete the collector's are looking for. This is an original GrandPrix White car from the factory verified by the door jamb sticker. I recently had it at my mechanic doing some maintenance work. He replaced the New Fuel Pump Relay,New Bosch Fuel Accumulator(the expensive one in the passenger rear fender well),New Starter,New Cold Start Valve Mount and O-Ring. The vehicle runs and drives but will need to be exercised as it has not been driven much this year. The body is very clean as you can see in the photos. There is no rust or dents on the body. The undercarriage is perfect as well with no rust holes or patches. There was a repaint done years ago and looks good and a nice driver quality job. The interior is very nice as well for a 40 year old classic. Prior to my ownership there were some tasteful mods done that are easily reversible if you are wanting it to be original again. There are New Style Led Headlamps(really bright at night),New 20 inch Porsche wheels,Front leather Recaro Sport style seats,Upgraded Stereo with speakers, back up camera,Tail light lenses and marker lenses tinted,Koenig style rear wing,Momo steering wheel(needs horn hooked up behind knob),Bass tube in trunk. Windows work up and down,Doors Lock, wipers work, headlights work, high beams work, turn signals work, all exterior lighting works,Stereo works,Emergency brake works. Gauges need electrical work. Either loose wires or fuses? Tachometer works all the time. The temp sensor pegs on high all the time. Gas gauge and other gauges work when they feel like it. Will need a blower motor. Glove box is tied up with a string because it needs the little latch(receiver pied that screws on with 2 screws). The 2 snorkel tubes in the engine bay are missing. The center vent above radio is missing. All the glass is perfect. Hood shocks and Hatch shocks work perfectly. Front lower spoiler is intact and still in one piece. No oil leaks and starts up easily. The 1978 and 1979 have the easy to maintain CIS injection system. Easy to work on and before everything started getting "electrically" complicated. They have the 1979 Porsche 928 values at $60,000 for a #1 car(concours),$38,000 for a #2(Excellent),$20,000 for a #3(Good).
