Selling my 1971 GS 455. I've owned this car for over 30 years. Its an original matching numbers 455 hardtop. Originally Sandpiper beige/ vinyl top with a sandlewood interior. Its now Sikkens single stage urethane black. NOS GM quarters installed, NOS fenders and core support. Car is pin straight. Full Legendary interior. Floors, trunk and frame in excellent condition. Car was originally purchased from Raymond Buick in Bay Shore NY. I have the build sheet for itThe current engine is a 550 HP 462 built by McBetts Racing with Gessler ported Stage 1 heads. TA 308S cam. high compression pistons, TA single plane intake, Quickfuel 950, MT headers, and brand new TA 3" exhaust. Trans was rebuilt Fred Brown. 10" Pro Torque converter. Rear is the original 8.5" 10 bolt with Richmond 3.70 gears. The matching numbers shortblock is included with the sale and is currently NOT installed.You get both engines. Shortblock has TRW 10-1 pistons and a Lunati Sp1 cam. This is a short video with my commentary on it. The video should answer most of your questions.
