| I rewrote the ad because for some reason it kept posting Chevrolet Corvette, which it is not. Mercedes-Benz C250-Series . Condition is Used. A one of a kind Mercedes pickup. Car started life as a 4 door C250 hard top. 2 Design engineers from Grumman Aerospace and a friend with a body shop set out to build a one of a kind Hot Rod, well they surely did it. They formed body panels from sheet metal to form the bed. They cut the body and brought the rear roof and glass forward to create the cab. The complete Mercedes chassis with original differential and gas tank are in their stock location. All headlights, blinkers and dash work as they should. There are so many hours in this car they could never give an exact total. Five years ago when Dad drove to cars shows no matter if he parked next to a $10,000 car or a $70,000 show car a crowd gathered around the Mercedes pickup. It has a 400 SBC with a 350 turbo transmission. Lokar shifter on the floor. Windows work as stock. Doors work as stock. If you want something away from Camaros, Chevelles and Mustangs, this is the car. The car will need some of your attention, but for a not so high of investment you would be the star of the show.
