V-8 backed by the original C-4 automatic transmission and 8” rear differential. According to the current owner, they are the second owner's of the Mustang. It was purchased new by a young man who drove the car for a number of years before going off to serve in Vietnam. The Mustang then sat in his mother's wooden garage in PA, and never driven, until it was purchased by the current owners in 1999. Due to the car sitting a total rebuild had to be performed. Bodywork includes new welded in floor pans, rear quarter panels, rocker panels, shock towers, firewall inserts, door skins, and lower front fender sections. All of the panels were professionally welded in without using 'Bondo' to fill in areas. Originally, the Ford came in Mossy green and has been repainted in a 2000 Ford Deep Jewel green metallic 2-stage urethane. All new interior including the power top with a glass rear window, carpets, door handles, window cranks, and floor mats. All factory gauges work except the clock. The Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette radio with kick panel speakers is not connected. The numbers matching V-8 and C-4 Automatic transmission were rebuilt in 2000 and have only been driven approximately 3000 miles. The 289 was treated to a slight .030” over bore with 10:1 compression flat top pistons, stock Ford hydraulic cam, three-angle valve job, stock ignition, Edelbrock intake and 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor, new radiator, hoses, and complete exhaust system. Rear differential was inspected and had the fluid changed. The original 3.10:1 open gears were retained. The suspension was replaced with all new parts including springs, bushings, complete brake system (factory power), gas tank and fuel lines.Due to the car sitting for several years the owner had the entire Mustang inspected less than a month ago, servicing the following items: Complete tune-up including a rebuilt carburetor, PCV valve, flushed gas tank, new battery, starter solenoid with cables, wiring harness, backup light housings w/wiring, ignition switch, headlight switch and a front-end alignment. All of the interior and exterior lights work including the turn signals in the hood. The 205 x 70R x 14 Cooper tires are approximately 2 years old and have less than 500 miles on them. The ’67 is a blast to drive and draws attention wherever it goes. Receipts for all of the work performed are included. As well as a letter of authentication from Ford Motor Company. Please note a new oil pan gasket is needed because there is a slight leak and the door locks need servicing. The car locks, but the key will not open the doors. IF YOU HAVE AN EBAY RATING OF LESS THAN 5 YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR BIDS WILL BE CANCELED. PLEASE BUY WITH CONFIDENCE I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 15 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 10 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!! References can be provided upon request. Feel free to call me at 410-937-0719 Thank you J.D. Kurzmann
