1965 Pontiac GTO . A good friend of mine with Parkinson’s disease has asked me to help him sell his beloved 65 GTO. I would categorize this car as an outstanding high end driver. It has a beautiful paint job and interior but has a few issues that make it not perfect. The car is a numbers matching tri-power car with only the rear differential having been changed. It is my understanding it was replaced with the correct part. I’ve had the car for about a week to clean, wax, and get to know and from what I can tell, it drives beautifully. I noticed a little air noise on the highway around the driver's side window but beyond that, it was great. The A/C blows cold and the brakes, transmission, and suspension perform beautifully. I believe my friend (78 yrs old) is the 2nd owner and it has been parked in his garage for the better part of the last 10 years due to his illness. I think he put new tires on it sometime within the last 18 months but they've hardly been driven. Also, he gave me stacks of paperwork and receipts. Please be sure to have your finances in order before you bid. Thank you! |
