I bought this very, very rare 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7,4-Speed, GT (S-code 390-4V), Jamaican Yellow, black interior, with steel styledwheels about 3 years ago. The VIN is7F93S644534 (See attached Marti report). I purchased this car about 90 percent complete on a ground-up “nut andbolt restoration.” I have over 30 pictures of this car being restored, alongwith most of the receipts $$$. Additional photos can be provided upon request. I believe that I am the 3rdregistered owner. This car is simplybeautiful, and the pictures speak for themselves. This car has been a life-long California car andhas been spared the rigors of the harsh Eastern Rust Belt Winters and as such, the integrity of the body is incredible. This car placed “Best of Show” out ofroughly 300 cars and trucks at a local southern California Car show in 2018. The car has a subdued modern Bluetooth stereosystem. The 1966 factory AM/FM stereopowers up but is not linked to the sound system. The car is in excellent condition. This car starts and runs and drives as it should. The car is always garaged and driven about100 miles a month; however, it has an oil drip. The paint on this car is not perfect and hasa few scratches and chips. This carcomes with a number matching engine and a 4-speed “top-loader” transmission currentlynot installed in this car. Instead, ithas another 4-speed “top-loader” transmission and a professionally built 390 Cuwith about 2,200 miles on it. It has an oldfactory Ford aluminum tri-power intake manifold with 3 Holley two-barrel carburetors, solid clam shell lifters; heads are of a 428 with aluminum Shelby valve coversand oil pan and the exhaust note is unbelievable. It goes without saying that this car is veryfast.Besides the number matching engine, it has an S-code 390 GTIron Intake. Chrome, Power By Ford Valve covers. C70F Holley carburetor, rebuilt by Holley never installed, and its original 390 GT Dual Screen AirCleaner as well, and a 4-speed “top-loader” transmission. This car comes with a lot of additional parts, another “professionally painted matching” hood, black XR7 console, vacuumsystem for the lights. The currentsystem has been upgraded to electric with an added vinyl top. No rust under the vinyl with pictures toprove it. The non-tilt steering columnhas been replaced with a “tilt-column”, with an upgraded GT steering wheel (seepictures). The original steering wheelwas damaged, but I still have it.PayPal is preferred payment or cash in person. I will accepta certified check or wire transfer but the car may not be picked up until checkhas cleared my bank. I have done my best to completely and accurately describethis vehicle.
