I am selling my friend's pickup for him. He is an old guy and does not have a computer. It has a 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed manual transmission. The odometer shows 50,000 miles and he claims that he put in a crate engine at 44,000 miles, several years ago. It seems to run very smooth, no knocks or smoke. So, I took it around the block for a test drive and here are my observations: It drives well except for a slight vibration at about 30 mph that goes away before it gets to 40 mph. I got it up to 50ish. Brakes are OK for a 50 year old truck without power brakes, that I am not used to. It has a manual transmission with a 3 speed shifter on the column (weird) that seems stiff to me, but I have never driven one before. Otherwise, it looks nice. The rear tires are mismatched (one being 30x9.5x15 and the other is 235/75r/15) with one being a bit bigger than the other, which may explain the vibration?? The interior looks like nothing I have ever driven before, very basic, but really flashy at the same time. He is asking $7,500. Email me with any questions and I will reply after asking him the next day. Thanks...Terms and Conditions. No item will be released until payment is made in full.
