| 1930 Pierce Arrow Model B 7 passenger sedan. This is an absolutely awesome, attention getting piece of automotive history. Those that have frequented some concours or antique car tours may have encountered this classic in the past years. This car may look like it just got pulled out of a barn, but trust me it runs and drives with the best of them. A true testament to the quality engineering of a Pierce. this car was pulled from a barn in Pennsylvania where it had slumbered for many years. Upon receiving it we soaked the cylinders in Mystery Oil, slowly rotating the engine for several weeks. We took tremendous pride in putting this car back on the road without making it look restored. The radiator was professionally cleaned, the water pump rebuilt, fuel system flushed and cleaned, fuel tank restored, some wiring was replaced to make the horns and tail lights function, the ignition system repaired, the brakes were dismantled, cleaned and repaired as necessary, all fluids flushed, new tires, tubes and flaps. Had a problem keeping the fuel pump functioning reliably so I installed an electric fuel pump (that is the only modern change made). The interior is ratty and is the most deteriorated part of the whole car, we kept covers on all of th seats to protect them, but unfortunately age is catching up with it. All of the wood is in great shape on the car, tight and solid. Doors fit and shut great on the car. The sheetmetal is great on most of the car except at the cowling region the car. Apparently the barn it sat in had a roof leak right at that spot and it rotted a spot not he visor, frame aprons and a little on the fender, as well as the running boards. The frame of the car is surface rusted but the integrity of the thick metal is still good. This car was noted by experts ion the Pierce Arrow Society as being extremely period correct and intact, not missing any parts or components. The car literally starts and drives great, have driven it a lot on the roads and does 55mph easily. And wow is this car a show stopper, you will be the hit at any Cruise In or Concours, we have attended many of these events and this car gets a ton of attention.
