Looking for a fun new car? It doesn’t get much better than a black ‘57 hard top on 5 spoke American wheels! It started life as a 210, but has had the Bel Air trim added to the quarter panels, dashboard, hood and trunk lid. We’ve done a lot of upgrades to this as listed below. New, freshly rebuilt 400 cubic inch small block ChevyTh350 transmission with a shift kit and 2500 stall converter HEI distributor Electric exhaust cut outsPower disk brakes in front, drum in the rear New ball joints and tie rods New gas tank Aluminum radiator New rear lower than stock springs Rear air shocks with on board air compressor for height and ride adjustment B&M ratchet shifter for positive gear selection This is a great driver quality car. All the windows roll up and down. The electric exhaust cut outs are fun. The 400 has plenty of power to push you back into the seat. The interior is clean and intact. The paint age is unknown, but is still a 5 footer looker. All the stainless and chrome is shiny but not shiny as new. The previous owner replaced the front floor pans. There is still some rot in each rocker panel as shown in the pictures. This is old damage and has been treated. It’s not fixed, but it’s not getting worse. I’ve been all over and under this car and see no other rust issues. Overall, it’s just a good old ‘black 57 hard top. The pictures honestly represent what you are buying. After purchase and payment is complete, I can provide 30 days of free indoor storage while you arrange your shipping if needed. |
