| WELL FOLKS HERE IS A 1972 PLYMOUTH GOLD DUSTER THAT WAS OWNED BY A LITTLE OLD LADY AND THEN US. THE REASON FOR SELLING THE CAR IS SIMPLE. I HAVE QUIT MY JOB AND BOUGHT A CATAMARAN TO SAIL AROUND THE WORLD WITH MY WIFE AND DOG. I HAD PLANS TO PUT A BIGGER ENGINE IN IT BUT, SAILING AROUND THE WORLD IS DEFINITELY A LARGER TASK AND THE CAR WON'T FIT ON THE BOAT. =] IT IS A TRUE 2 OWNER A64 GOLD DUSTER. WE ADDED A SANDEN COMPRESSOR AND AFTERMARKET BLOWER FOR COLD AC. THE DISTRIBUTOR IS NEW AND HAS A PERTRONIX UNDER THE CAP DIGITAL IGNITION. WE UPGRADED THE STARTER TO A GEAR REDUCTION UNIT THAT IS FOUND IN THE NEWER RAMS. THE LOWER 1/4 EXTENSIONS ARE STARTING TO BUBBLE AND SHOULD BE REPLACED, NEW ONES FROM GOODMARK COME WITH THE CAR. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OTHER SMALL SPOTS THAT ARE SHOWING A SOME RUST START TOO. BUT, FOR A CAR THAT IS 45 YEARS OLD THEY GENERALLY ARE NOT THIS CLEAN. IT HAS NEVER BEEN HIT, DOORS CLOSE LIKE A BANK VAULT. REAR TAIL LIGHT PANEL WAS REPLACED IN 2010 WHEN THE DUSTER WAS PAINTED. THE SNAKESKIN TOP IS PROBABLY DUE FOR A RE-DYE. WE ADDED A SHARKTOOTH GRILLE LAST YEAR AND IT REALLY GIVES THE CAR A MEANER LOOK.PLEASE BID HIGH AND OFTEN, WE REALLY NEED THE CASH TO TRAVEL AND EMBARK ON THIS ADVENTURE. They are both on switches under the dash like a Charger would have gotten them. There is also a trunk lamp. I have an extra dash that goes with the car if you want to convert it back to the stock style radio. Just to be fair, I noticed one small rust spot starting on the passenger side rear window and another small spot inside the where the rocker meets the quarter when you open the door. I am picky with my details and don't try to mislead anybody. The driver's side upper control arm bushing makes a noise too. All the suspension was replaced with PST urethane stuff a couple of years ago. We have only driven this car 3,000 miles since we got it. Let me know if there are any other questions.
