Great driver with 80-90% restoration complete. New floors, trunk pan, and lower metal replaced with metal and new base/clear merlot metallic paint. 5 coats of base and 4 of clear. Headliner and carpet brand new but still being installed. Original 390 coupe drivetrain with 114k never apart. New valve cover, and trans pan gaskets, new joints and center bearing on driveshaft, brake lines and dual master cyl, all 4 corners of brakes, gas tank and line, pertronix ignition, rechromed rear bumper ($1200) and new Coker whitewalls ($1000). Completely rewired front to back with new harness. Rebuilt steering pump and generator. New shocks. Dashboard disassembled, cleaned, and tested. Gas sending unit always reads full. Original dash cracked, heater fan working, core not leaking, but cables frozen. Original radio included but was going to put in a Retrosound. New speakers installed in package tray and dash. Hubcaps are 59 cause I like them better. New trunk and door weatherstripping in. Hobbyist restoration that gets a TON of attention. Every piece of trim is there including the hard to find rear quarters. Not a perfect car but all the hard work is done. Put the original interior back in or re-do it as you drive. Back seat foam is a little brittle. I’ve driven it about 200 miles since doing all work but time to go. Need a new daily driver. Finish it as you like or drop a 500ci eldo motor and air ride in it!
