1973 Porsche 911 T Targa w/ MFI - project VIN: 9113110575 Matching numbers 1973 Porsche 911 T Targa Engine: 6131386 (911/51) Transmission: 73333772 Originally came with Air conditioning Certificate of Authenticity provided Clear title in hand 88K TMU MFI (Mechanical Fuel Injection) Tuned and balanced Transmission was rebuilt in 2019 Engine was dropped, cleaned and re-sealed in 2019 Fan was bead blasted, engine cleaned and sheet metal painted in 2018 New clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. New Tires Restored Fuchs Reupholstered seats New H4 headlights New Sonnenschein batteries (2) New plugs, wires, cap, rotor New valve covers on top and new turbo valve covers on bottom New fuel and cold start lines New belts and hoses New engine insulation New fuel filter All shifter bushings replaced Many more new parts Will include original steering wheel, some seals and other misc parts. Mechanically this car has been completely gone through in 2019. The MFI system was tuned and balanced at MillerSport in Hillsborough, NC and is in excellent running condition. The car starts, runs and drives extremely well. It has great power and sounds great. Shocks and brakes are also good. The car was originally Ivory/46 exterior and Black Leatherette/11 Interior A few years ago this car had been “updated” by the previous owner to look like a later model 911. It had side skirts, newer side mirrors and 964 bumpers. The reupholstered driver and passenger seats and some interior parts from a 964 were installed. It was then painted Guards Red. The paint job was done a few years ago and is of a high quality. I had the original bumpers painted the original Ivory with the intent of having the entire car repainted its original color. The original A/C plumbing is still in the car and the compressor and other 80’s interior A/C parts can be included in the sale. I bought the car from the previous owner who lived in South Carolina and who had always kept the car garaged and properly maintained. The car has no rust. A change in job status necessitates the sale of the car in its current state. This would be a great project car and can be finished to its original glory or can be driven anywhere just the way it is. It is in very good mechanical condition. Please call or email with any questions…(919) Six One 7- 1695A driving video is available upon request. Shipping assistance available if needed. Non-refundable $750 deposit due within 24 hours of end of auction.
