It is numbers-correct: the engine, transmission, exterior & interior colors match the under-hood & windshield VIN, valve cover tag, and door tags. This is an early production “glove-box” AMX model, with dash number: # 01133.The car has a completely rebuilt and balanced 390 V-8 with factory original intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, and chrome valve covers. The engine is strong and smooth! The car has been repainted in its original Matador Red. The Interior has reproduction Legendary seat covers in the original “ventilair” style; the carpet is new, and all the door panels, dash, and hard parts are in excellent condition and have been re-dyed the factory original shade of red. The beautifully restored, hard-to-find, three-spoke red & wood-grain steering wheel is exquisite! The car makes a bold statement with its factory Go-Pack over-the-top stripes, optional Trendsetter side exhaust covers, chrome magnums and redline radials! The front windshield retains a state inspection sticker dated 1972. Factory options include tachometer, electric wipers, headlight buzzer, power disc brakes, headrests, heavy-duty cooling, T-10 4-spd, “twin-grip” differential (3.15), chrome magnums, red-line tires, and chrome bumper extensions. This car turns heads!
