| 1969 Reliant Scimitar GTE SE5 3.0 Litre English Ford V-6, 4 speed manual Transmission. This is a project car, needing restoration. Engine turns freely with key. Two door Diamond Back Sporting Estate wagon. Factory Tube headers, RH drive, Fiberglass body. Rare, interesting and innovative for it's day. A light, nimble, sporty and attractive car. Princess Anne, Princess Margaret, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke of Kent all drove these cars. The Hatchback design was very "Mod" back in the day. Engine is mounted behind the front wheels for improved handling. Rack and Pinion steering. Stored for several years. Will need diagnostic work, repair and restoration. Front seats and rims are not stock. Rear hatch window cracked, other glass good. Body has some damage, stress cracks. Air Cleaner missing. A lot of the interior is usable, note how nice the gauges are. Letters are still quite white. Note photos of frame, steering, and suspension. Not much corrosion compared to many of these cars. Much of the interior is still supple, and the whole car does not seem to have had much Sun exposure. Gear selector moves smoothly, brakes and clutch operate temporarily with added fluid. Lights work.This is a limited production car and it is rare indeed to see one for sale in the States. Car is sold As is, Where is in all regards.
