| Arizona 1966 VW Camper Van VW Camper Bus This photo shows an amazing, original condition 1966 VW Camper Bus. Over the years, there has been some light body work that has been done, however the paint is still original from 1966. Any paint work that has been done has patina look. These are the factory cabinets however we have replaced some wood that had some weather damage. As you can see, the front of the bus is in great condition. It has very little damage below the emblem. We went ahead and put four brand new tires on the bus, went through the entire brake system and then sandblasted and painted the wheels the factory color for a fresh look. This is the extent of the damage. Not a huge deal to fix, but there is a little damage done. This thing is locked and loaded, ready to go camping. Side vents are in pristine condition. This is the factory original tent that is immaculate. All of the poles are there, the canvas is in beautiful condition and shows extremely well. I can just see you sittin' in your lawn chair, relaxing under that shade :) We gutted the entire interior, welded in a new door sill and painted to match the rest of the bus. We then installed a new wood base before the interior was put back in, then new carpet was installed. All of this was done professionally. Beautiful new curtains have been installed throughout. The icebox original and in good condition. As you can see in the photo, all new upholstery was installed and is in beautiful condition. We installed new door panels, kick panels and rubber floor mat. As you can see, this thing is super clean. Again, the extent of the major damage on the bus. This is the photo just how immaculate the interior is. The original wood is in phenomenal condition. This little panel was replaced professionally. This doesn't have any major holes so it was not replaced. The is the extent of the rust on the bus. Light surface rust on the lower part of the side doors, but again, no major issue. The rust does not affect anything structural. This 1966 Volkswagen Camper is in pristine condition. We've got an Arizona bus here. You know that saying...it's a dry heat...yup, that means this puppy is dang near rust free! We ran this bus on auction last week and we got real close to reserve. We have gone ahead and lowered the reserve as we are looking to sell this bus. This bus has been completely gone through front, back, inside and outside. The new owner of this bus is going to be able to start camping the second it hits their front door. The engine has been gone through. It has a brand new set of pistons and cylinders, we have rebuilt the heads and an all new original exhaust system was installed. This thing runs and drives like a Cadillac. We went ahead and replaced the fuel tank and replaced all fuel lines. Brakes have all been replaced as well. We made sure all lights and wipers are working as they should. The upholstery for the inside of this bus is in perfect condition. The bed in the back is ready to be slept on. The only thing this bus could use is a front window seal, back window seal and the driver and passenger door seals. These are still original and are a bit dry so it wouldn't hurt to replace those. We would be more than happy to do that for you for an additional cost. You won't find another bus like this one!
