1967 Cadillac Deville Convertible 429 V8 , Turbo-Hydramatic Transmission. Needs some restoration.This is a one owner car I purchased from the inheritor after the owner had passed away The color is called 'DOESKIN', the interior is called "ANTIQUE SADDLE'. This was a made to order Deville, not straight off the assembly line.The interior, chrome, and top are in excellent condition. Have 4 brand new tires, 3 still need to be mounted. Have all owners manuals, orig. receipt, and 1967 mechanics repair guide used at dealership. Starts with a jump. Engine and transmission in good shape. Needs new exhaust pipes and muffler(was damaged by tow truck whom did not know what they were doing)Body is in good condition, rust on body behind front wheels and some behind rear wheels, but the wheel wells are in good condition and .Undercarriage is not rusted out.floorboards are in good condition. Original owner had undercoating treatment (on receipt)done when he ordered the car in '67' Needs some mechanical work, maybe power steering pump, water pump or radiator leaking, A/C work, brake work. Conv.top motor works but needs lubrication on pistons and joints and probably new fluid to pull the top all the way to the back. Has new master cylinder but might need brake booster or just bled. Has new generator, orig. glass fuel filter bowl with new filter.Last driven in June of 2018 but just up n down the street. Odometer shows 21,000, but probably 121. Clean North Carolina Title. Why for sale? I just do not have the time or the energy to work on vehicles like I used to, and of course this vehicle is sold as is |
