Yes, this car came originally equipped with the famous and powerful 428 Cobra Jet Engine, rated at 335HP!! This is a rare car that is quickly going up in value. This is a car that is a must have for any ford collector. The 1968.5 Mustangs started production in April, 1968, and this car was built on April 26th, 1968. This car had a very nice option list which can be seen below on check out the picture of the Marti Report. It came equipped with a factory 4 speed toploader transmission and a 4.30 Traction Lok rear axle ratio which would move this car down the road with fast acceleration and a lot of torque. This car was sent to Mullins Ford in Richlands, VA when new, and has stayed in this area for all of its life. The car has all of its factory VIN tags. Dash tag, Door tag, and apron stamp. Rearend: 9” Rearend with 31 spline Nodular Center section Interior: Interior is Beautiful, very original, black in color. Has a folddown rear seat. Interior is very nice and shows well. Interior is what you would expect from a driver car. 8K factory tach gauges, fog light switch, lights and wipers work. Body and Paint: The car is very straight and all of the panels line up very well. Factory staggered shocks in the rear installed by the factory. The paint is nice and shows well. The car is driver quality and has some chips, and touchups throughout. The hood has the matte black CJ stripe with a hood scoop. The driver floor pan has been replaced at some point, and the passenger side pan has a weak spot. Passenger torque box has a repair. Frame rails are solid. Glass: All of the glass is in excellent condition. Windows roll up and down just as they should, nice and smooth, and seal tight. Suspension and Brakes: The suspension on this car is all stock ford engineering design, coil spring front, and leaf spring rear. Power Disc Brakes on the front, drum brakes rear. 9” rear end with 4.10 traction lok gearset to put all that Ford Big Block power to the ground.
