Up for sale for my friend is a two owner survivor 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. It had a frame off restoration in 1994 but has been driven and enjoyed for the last 25 years . It also has been kept inside for that time also. Here are some details of the car. 69’ Camaro, needs restored . I bought this car from my high school buddy ,who’s grandma bought it new . It was a 230 6 cylinder with heat and a radio. He got it in76’ , repainted it and drove it to school then retired it to his dad’s garage for upgrades that never got finished in about 79’. I finally convinced him to sell it to me in 92’ . It was finished in 94’ and I’ve been driving and upgrading since. Nearly every panel needs attention , but the floor and trunk are solid,as seen in pictures . The car has been garaged all but a couple years , 77’-79’ . Runs and drives well , handles great, especially when compared to stock 69’ suspension , and working Vintage Air , heat and a/c . I have enjoyed and beat it up cosmetically over the years, and I also have Polaroids from the frame out restoration in 93 &4 .Here’s the list of upgrades:63’ 283 ci - a little leaky and getting tired92 Borg/Warner T5 from V8 camarooriginal rear housing with added posi , light duty , it has 10 bolts but it is not a modern one F41 code , 4 leaf rear springsAddco 1 1/4” sway bar w/poly bushings Hotchkis 1” drop front springs GM Nova front spindles and disc brakes 79 T/A rear disc brakes w/parking brakes Dick Gulstrand relocated upper a frame mountsVintage Air heat a/c about a 2004 cable edition GM steel cowl induction hoodBlack Deluxe interior w/non original buckets included is original white standard interior including original white bucket seats Original 69 console , was for automatic , not butchered up but has custom wood, gauge topGlobal West Suspension: tubular sub-frame connectors solid interlocking front sub-frame body mounts blue printed power steering box from 73 Z28 grease able Del Alum A frame bushings Koni adjustable, rebuildable hydraulic front shocksalso included : new inner and outer tail light panels from Classic Industries |
