Please peruse all of the photos, numbers, video, and information below to get a true sense of clean, nice, and original this Z28 really is.Besides the correct trim codes this Camaro is "Numbers Matching." The last six digits of the VIN are stamped on the engine pad, which is pictured in this ad, and the engine is original to the car. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as these F-Body's are appreciating fast and the market on them is red hot right now, especially for a 4-speed example.Additionally, the 1970 to 1973 Camaros are by-far the most desirable and sought-after of the second generation body style. It would be almost impossible to find another 1973 Camaro with this many great options in such a great color, let alone one with such low original mileage and in such great original condition. All of the highly desirable options of this Camaro, including that Z28 option, are verified as correct and were ordered new from the factory by the original window sticker pictured in this ad. This Camaro is well documented and comes with the original owner's manual, maintenance booklet with the original owner's name on it, 1973 consumer information booklet, 1973 GM maintenance schedule book, 1973 Chevrolet emission booklet, and the 1973 Chevrolet Accessory booklet. There are also a great number of receipts and records that go with the car. The receipts total over $3,000, but even more importantly many have the mileage recorded on them so they are another great verification of the low original mileage. As a side note, this Z28 Camaro is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Camaro, just give us a call.ExteriorThe Light Copper Metallic (60) exterior is in spectacular condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has an excellent gloss, deep shine, and smooth glass-like finish. The previous owner told us that he just had an exceptionally high quality paintjob done to the car two years ago at a cost of over $8,000 and it still looks amazing. The chrome and other bright-work on the car looks great with a bright finish and no pitting. The original wheels are in excellent condition with a brilliant finish and no curb rash on the beauty rings. The tires are literally brand new with less than 20 miles on them. Often many Camaros will have particularly chipped up front ends; this car does not and even the low front spoiler is in great condition as one can see in the photos. As one can see in the many photos of the underside of the car is very clean underneath. We have included specific photos of the areas most prone to rust on a second generation Camaro to show how clean this car is.The Camaro looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.Window Date CodesPlease note that almost all of the glass on this Camaro is date coded and original as each piece predates the car's body build date of the fourth week of January 1973 (01D). Original glass is a good indication that this car has had no major accident history and never sustained significant damage.Interior The Black Vinyl (775) interior of the Z28 is in utterly splendid condition. The seats look just in person as they do in the photos with no split seams, tears, or excessive wear. The gauge faces are clean and crisp and the gauge lenses are crystal clear. The carpet is also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected. The door panels are in great condition with no cracks or splits and the door pulls are in tact. This Z28 still features its original AM/FM radio. Most importantly, the dash has never been cut of modified for an aftermarket installation. The dash and center console look great with no splits, sun fading, or cracks. The original package tray looks great with no warping, fading, or sun damage. This is one of the best original interiors we have ever seen in person in a second generation Camaro and is a true study of how these cars looked from the factory.Camaro interiors are not known to wear well and the spectacular condition of this original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care this car has received throughout it's life and another great verification of the very low original mileage. The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.MechanicalThis Z28 is in excellent mechanical condition and it is ready to be enjoyed. The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles smooth. This Camaro is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The close ratio 4-speed transmission shifts well, the shifter feels tight, and does not pop out of gear. The clutch feels good and operates smoothly. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. This Camaro has plenty of power and is quite fast. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean and highly detailed as one can see in the photos.Everything on this car works properly and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The horn works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, the blower for the heater on all speeds, lighter, and even the glove box light still works along with other very detailed items such as the "Fasten Seat Belt" light when the car is fist started. All of the gauges work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with 4-Speed manual transmission. This Camaro runs and drives as well as it looks.Overall Condition Overall, this 1973 Z28 Camaro is in amazing condition. This car is particularly rare and extra desirable with the Muncie M21 close ratio 4-speed transmission, numbers matching driveline, and the beautiful Light Copper Metallic color scheme. Low mileage and original examples of the second generation Camaros are hard to find and draw a huge premium in the current market. Numbers matching and originality is extremely important in Camaro pricing and as one can see this car is very original and correct. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future. The excellent condition, the extensive documentation, the very low original mileage, the desirable options, and the originality make this Z28 especially important and difficult to duplicate. This Camaro always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. The prices of second generation Camaros have increased drastically over the past years, especially for premium examples like this car. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.Other sellers are not taking the time to show the car is in such great detail to give you all of the numbers, options, photos, and video. As stated above, numbers matching is extremely important in Chevrolet pricing and will become even more important as time passes and this car becomes older and even more rare. This information is very valuable and important for pricing. Any perspective buyer, for any of our vehicles or from other sellers, should ask for all the numbers and information before he or she makes a purchase.Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call with any questions.itemnumberdescriptionVIN1Q87T3N133752The first digit "1" indicated the Chevrolet division of GM.
