The body is finished in a stunning Candy Red complemented by a classic signal hood and all stripes are painted! It also has new chrome and polished stainless steel trim. Take a look at the pictures and they will show SMOOTH contours and CRISP body lines! The car presents itself extremely well and the paint is super nice as well, SHOW QUALITY. The body work took a little over 6 months non stop to complete. 5 coats of base color with 7 coats of clear to get the mirror finish you see in the pics. All the striping including the 351 numbers are all painted. no decals or stickers. All panel gaps line up well and doors open and close as they should. You can look down every panel with confidence! All trim has been polished to SHINE! The glass on this car is NEW and easy to see through. The grill is in great condition and the headlights are clear as well. The taillights are not weathered in any way and are free of cracks. The bottom of the doors are crisp and sharp! The rocker panels are solid as well. It rides on a set of period correct wheels. The interior is in amazing condition as well with high back bucket seats and a sport fold down rear! The carpet is brand new and free of rips and stains. The headliner is nice and tight and free of stains as well. The door panels have been newly recovered and are free of rips. All hardware works as it should and looks great! As pictures show these gauges are super clear and easy to read! The dash mat is brand new and free of any UV damage. As you pop the hood you will notice a 351 Cleveland hooked to the factory FMX, after slight mods on the engine it has dyno tested at 330 Hp @ 385 ft lbs of torque. Its not a tire roaster but runs strong and has great street . The 351 Cleveland is bored 30 over with a stage 1 Crane cam, All new pistons, rings and bearings and a slight grind on the crank just to clean it up! The Original block was to far gone so a 71 block was used for a donor. The heads are the original. Up top an Edlebrock Performer series intake manifold with a Holly Demon Carb (625CFM). The 351 is paired to a Fresh FMX completely restored Trans with a slight shift kit and a 1800 stall Converter. A 9" Ford is in the rear that has been kept stock and just went through and adjusted and all new seals and bearings. 3.00 Ratio. It sounds incredible thank to Custom built headers from Ford Powertrain Applications out of Puyallup ,Wa. These reduce down to a 2.5 stainless steel system with flowmaster going to the rear then out the Scott Drake Mach 1 Tips under the rear valance. It rides like a DREAM with New Upper and lower Control Arms, Ball Joints, Idler Arm, Inner and Outer Tie rod Ends and Adjusting sleeves, Strut Rod Bushings, Sway bar Bushings and Stabilizer Links (Front and Rear), Rear lift springs (standard height) and KYB gas shocks all the way around.
