| Ford Thunder1966 Ford Thunderbird Landau Coupe. Wimbledon White with a white interior. This is a nice car that runs great. It needs a little bit more work to make a nice driver. A lot of work has been put in this car already. Odometer shows 31,000 miles. I cannot vouch for that. After all, it is 53 years old. Floors, Trunk, wheel wells are all solid.It is equipped with Power Windows including wing windows, Power Door Locks, (Airconditioning needs work) Power Driver Seat, Power front disc brakes, all work.New center console switch for the windows. It has the original AM Quadrophonic 8track that was refurbished and converted to AM FM with input for phone. The 8 track was cleaned and functions perfectly. All new door speakers. The clock is running but is not all that accurate. All of the interior lights are operating along with theoverhead warning lights. New carpet sound deadening and insulation. The sequential turn signalsystem has been upgraded to a solid state system and works perfectly. I do have the fender skirts in perfect condition, just not on the car. Also equipped with new tires.The following mechanical work has been done: Brakes completely new from front to back including brake lines, wheel cylinders, drums and rear brake hardware, front calipers and rotors master cylinder, and brake proportioning valve. New ebrake cable. Complete new stock exhaust system and hangars. Complete new rear suspension, leaf Springs and shocks. Up front new shocks, stabilizer barbushings. Radiator and Surge tank have been checked and flushed. All new hoses and thermostat. New fan clutch and cowlThe car is equipped with a 390 FE engine and a completely rebuilt Autolite 4100 4 barrel Carb. The block shows a recent overhaul. The top half of the engine had been completely redone. This includes heads, push rods, lifters, timing belt and chain, water pump, Fuel Pump. etc. New electronic voltage regulator, coil, distributor, alternator, and solenoid.I have a new AC condenser from original air group, new drier and hoses along with the original York compressor that can work with the new components. It just needs to be installed, evacuated and charged.There are many more smaller items that have been addressed.I have all the original parts worth keeping as well as some new one. I will include all the Ford service manuals as well as receipts of work done. I also have the original build sheet from under the back seat.Email me with any questions. | |
