This is a 1975 Land Rover 101 Forward Control that was restored by East Coast Rovers and has only 1400 miles since then. This is one of the most unique vehicles that was produced for the British military and not offered to the public. Only 2669 of these trucks were built, powered by a 3.5 liter V8 gasoline engine and a wheelbase of 101 inches, hence the name. The truck originally underwent a complete nut and bolt restoration by East Coast Rover. The most recent service included all new seals and hoses as well as rebuilt carburetors. The truck can carry 10 to 15 people comfortably and has many convenience features built in by East Coast Rover. It has a custom sound system with ipod integration, warn winch recovery kit, a custom built, on-board air compressor to service the large tires and much more. A complete restoration file is available upon request. |
