The process of tear down was started several years ago for restoration, where it stalled and has sat in storage since. It has a 440 with it, but is not original. I was told that it is a 440-6 engine, but the year does not show that. It is a 440 HP engine, as shown on the engine stamp and is rebuilt with receipts to prove, including polished crank, Isky push rods, Isky Springs, ARP rod bolts, ARP main studs, Arias pistons (e-4296-030), mopar performance purple cam f4120237 (.509/.509). There is no intake or carb. The windows are there, but rolled down. I have the back glass but I do not have a windshield. The body has rust in the quarters, as shown in the pics. The right quarter was hit and instead of straightening it out, it was covered with bondo, which has been sanded off to show the steel underneath. It should not need full quarter replacements, just the lower patches and some of the wheel arch on the driver's side. The main floor is pretty nice, the rails are solid, the package tray is solid, the window channels are all nice but for a small hole at the bottom of each side on the back glass. There is rust in the middle trunk panel and a small amount on the front lower corner of passenger door. The doors open and shut nicely. All of the trim and parts are there and I have a lot of pictures that I can send to serious buyers (I can only put 24 on here). I have the original build sheet, which is in poor condition, but it's there. The fender tag is gone. The car pretty much speaks for itself. It is not the typical rusted out B body that you usually see. It has a few rust spots, but is a very nice body. You can call or text with questions and I can send pictures. I can help with shipping arrangements or I can deliver the car myself for an agreed fee. Chris 501-690-9625 |
