CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Purchased car in 1996 from an older man. He had just restored the interior with new seat foam, seat covers, door panels, gauge lenses, dash pad and carpet. Soft top was out of the car and he had lost the bolts. Drove it on weekends until 2003. Took it to a guy to troubleshoot an electrical short that was draining the battery and to begin some restoration work. The man passed away 2 months later and the cars dash was all taken apart. I was able to get it home and it has been parked in my garage ever since. I have lost interest and it's time to sell. I have put the dash back together the best that I can. Buyer should go over the wiring. Frame on soft top looks good but the vinyl should be replaced. Body needs restoration including paint and bodywork. Chrome trim pieces below front bumper need replacing. Front and back bumpers can be cleaned up but rechroming would be better. Interior just needs some cleaning and some minor trim pieces. Carpet in the storage compartment has a big stain and needs fabric paint. Original steering wheel, radio and ignition shielding come with the car. Door handles need replacing. Previous owner has installed an aftermarket power steering kit. The car has factory AC which is rare on a convertible of that era. Car appears to have the original 327 small block and 4 speed transmission. The car has been sitting for 16 years so mechanically all of the systems need to be gone over. Low starting bid for a 2 top convertible 4 speed chrome bumper C3. I have the clean title in hand. Buyer responsible to set up shipping. No reserve. I will be there on pickup date to assist. Car is sold as is. Odometer shows 74,702 miles. Last owner said it was the true mileage but I have no way of verifying that. Good luck
