1973 International Scout II with rare steel original half top. 345/Automatic This International Harvester Scout was a farmers truck for many many years in Tucson AZ. I purchased it from the original owners grandson, and is now being used as my work truck and around town coffee cruiser.Body is solid, the only rust is a small area on the inside driver and passenger kick board floor corners from a leak in the roof, all body panels, rockers, bed and top are rust free. Overall very solid scout in resprayed original blue color. This Scout was a farm truck for many years and the body shows character as it has a lot of small dents, dings on just about every panel and top, passenger door being the worst and might even need replacing but opens and closes fine. makes a great work truck but will need some work to be a show truck. 345 engine runs good, 727 automatic transmission shifts good, does leak a little oil and trans fluid. Heat, lights, turn signals, gauges, cigarette lighter works, wiper motor works just need wiper arms and blades. Tires are new and brake drums/wheel cylinders/pads/master cylinder and brake booster all new. Interior is very good, no cracks in dash pad, bench seat is in great condition no tears still soft. Steering wheel and Radio are NOS. Vehicle is being sold AS IS so please contact me with all questions before bidding or buying 801-556-2592 |
