1967 Camaro 350/4 speedThis Camaro has original GM sheet metal, except for cowl hood. There is zero rust in this body. Take a look at pics of floor pan, that is cleaned off and painted chassis black...no undercoating, no rust pits, no beat up floor. The rocker seams and pinch welds are excellent original and clean. Fenders, doors, front valances, truck lid, cowl panel...gaps and body lines are simply correct GM fitment. The window moldings, drip rail trims, tail lights surrounds, grille, handles and body spears are detailed originals and NOS GM in blue/white paper wrapping. On the inside, the headliner is original along with door panels, dash pad, gauges and center radio and controls. NOS GM window wipes and nice working window hardware means the windows roll up and down and fit like they are supposed too. The seats have been recovered and new carpet but even the four speed boot is a NOS GM. Door weatherstrips are NOS GM and the upper window seals are Metro replacements. This Camaro still has nice original T3 headlamps. The original steering wheel looks practically new. The short cap 14" rally wheels have Firestone Wide-Oval redline F70-14 tires that really complement the 1967 code Silver Poly paint that is done in DuPont Chromapremier base/clear. The black bumblebee nose stripe and correct body pinstripe really accentuate the Silver color. The NOM 350 was rebuilt with a mild 300hp/350 camshaft, headers, HEI, Edelbrock C4B intake and Carter AFB. The Muncie M20 was rebuilt with new synchros and bearings and assembled in car with new clutch. The exhaust is Flowmaster and sounds musclecar perfect without being overly loud. The radiator has been re-cored with new brass/copper core and new heater core. Very fun, tight car to drive with manual trans and warmed-over small block and really, the bottom line is that instead of a classic car full of misfit reproduction parts piled on an old beat camaro body with a paint job. This Camaro is simply JUST how a person remembers these cars when new. Please feel free to contact about additional pictures or video. Ask any questions you may have. Bid with confidence that this is one of absolute cleanest first gen F-bodies around. |
