| Up for auction is a 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Purchased from the original owner 6 months ago.This Monte Carlo has a 305 V8 engine with a 2 barrel carburetor, with the installed Flowmaster exhaust it has a very aggressive sound and drives just as nice. Changes made: > Brand New powers steering pump> Rebuilt Transmission including adding improved gears > Converted AC from R12 to R134-A refrigerant ( Blows very cold on hottest days even when car is idling.)> Brand new 750 CCA battery with new positive and negative cables with terminals>Changed out tired 80 amp alternator for a Brand new 1-wire Powermaster high output Alternator, with this new alternator this would allow you to run addition load on the car and won't even stress the Voltage.There are some cosmetic issues and with some tlc this can be a really nice Monte Carlo. This Monte Carlo is very good on gas and was used as a daily driver.
