At Carstore we are extremely excited to offer this Very Collectable 1962 Studebaker Lark with ONLY 37,000 miles. Carstore has been in the classic car business more than 40 years, selling hundreds of classics. We were selling Classic/Performance vehicles long before it became the phenomenon it is today. This Studebaker Lark was purchased out of an estate 17 years ago and has mostly been in storage since then. Take a good look at the photos and you will see this is one FINE example of an unmolested, unrestored automobile. The Studebaker was a FAVORITE during its era and was extremely popular. That said, there are only a few examples of these GREAT cars left. Own one of the coolest cars in that decade! The power plant in the Studebaker is the original 6-cylinder engine that is backed by the original manual 3-speed column shift transmission. This Studebaker Lark has the HIGHLY DESIRABLE optional overdrive transmission that is working perfectly. The mechanics on the Studebaker are in great condition and this Lark drives out like it is still new! The interior is nearly immaculate with the original dealer installed plastic seat covers still on the car. The vinyl floor mats look almost new. Most of the vehicles we see are restored and still don't look this nice! This is a well cared for car that you just don't see that often. The body on the Lark is nearly perfect and we are really diggin' the color on this Studebaker! It looks to have had one lacquer repaint several years ago, but still has a very nice original look.
