| Jeep Other . Condition is Used. Has some rust issues. The drivers side rear leaf spring bracket that attaches to the frame at the rear is broken loose. Almost all the steel involved in holding on the rear bumper needs attention due to rust. The frame, body aside from the rear, top, engine, steering, clutch, hubs, and much more of the jeep seem to be in pretty good shape. The drivers side window actuator needs to be fixed. Needs a gas tank, a battery, needs to have keys made. My neighbor bought this jeepster before he passed away in hopes of one day having time to restore it. It was a project I thought I could take on but is just too involved, I don't have the space to do a frame up restoration which is what this jeep needs. I have a clean title (pink slip) for the jeep and that is it. No plates, no keys, just the title. I have run the vin and plate through the dmv registration calculator and they both say vehicle not found. I know these jeepsters are rare but I have no idea what the actual value of this vehicle but I figure its a fair starting price and there is no reserve. If I had the space to do the kind of restoration this jeep needs I would do it in a heartbeat, but I don't. This will be a nice project for someone. | |
