paint color: red size: full-size title status: clean transmission: manual type: SUV If it's listed, it's available. I may be open to a Best Offer, but please, Serious inquiries/bids only. Very clean, rust free 1979 K5 Blazer restored and titled on a rust free 74 Jimmy Frame (pre emissions). She needs just a few minor things to be a competitive local show truck. When I say minor, I mean windshield fluid sprayers, a horn, and possibly a thermostat. A bit of a pavement princess as she has not been out on winter roads, but has most of the makings for getting out and wheeling, just add in a coil over conversion if you want articulation.- Always garaged (climate control) and is a head turner everywhere she goes. Paint is good at 12 inches. There is an abrasion on the Pass/Front Fender and is pictured. - 350 SBC/.60 over at rebuild and can get out of the way if you need to. - SM 465 Trans- Runs great! I drive it to work 1-2x a week - 25 highway miles and she runs straight down the road. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country or take it on the trail. My kids love to sit in the back on our way to their games or the ice cream shop. - Mileage is unverified - Odometer reads 40K; I'm sure it's turned over due to age, but certainly not the condition. - Dana 44 Front; 12 Bolt Rear- New 4:11 gears on both axles and new Eaton Posi on the rear. I have the original 3:23s if you'd like to swap them back for any reason. Still in great shape.- New Bilstein B6 HD shocks all the way around - Hedman headers and Flowmaster 50 series dual exhaust and new black flowmaster tips. Sounds great without being obnoxious- 4" Body lift on 35"s with 35% tread. Stands at 6' 10" and just clears my 7' garage door- New Fenders that have been rolled and portions of undercarriage have been sprayed- Interior (leather) seats and door panels; looks almost like new and has liner under the new carpet that you can roll up if you need to haul anything or get dirty. - Newer cowl hood with heavy springs and reinforced brackets to prevent classic squarebody hood buckling- Two year old Softopper and comes with hardtop that is in great condition. - I put in Tahoe seats in the rear and still have the original set. - I attached a few pics of what I consider to be the "worse" things. I am happy to send videos, more pics, FaceTime, answer questions, etc. This rig is a unicorn and needs to go to someone who can take her the last mile and make her perfect. I also have some pics from the previous owners restoration out of Texas; the 79 K5 cab on 74 Jimmy frame. For sale locally and I reserve the right to end the sale at any time.
