Up for auction is a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 with 78,000 original miles, very nice driver. Vehicle has basically has been always garaged.Vehicle is equipped with a 289, 2 barrel, automatic transmission, power steering, power convertible top, am radio and aftermarket air conditioning but needs compressor, new tires and wheels with only 50 miles on them.Vehicle was repainted yellow years ago. It is presentable for a driver quality car but it is showing its age. The body is basically solid with the exception of both rear lower quarter panels which were repaired when the vehicle was repainted and some bubbling is present. The undercarriage has surface rust but it is basically solid. Chrome and moldings are in very good condition.The original interior is in very nice overall condition. The convertible top is new and operates flawlessly. Vehicle was just removed from storage. The fluids were flushed and replaced. Vehicle runs and drives extremely well, it is a true pleasure to drive. I would feel confident driving this vehicle any distance.This is basically an original vehicle with one repaint.
