1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu AC car with navy blue interior and a dark navy blue top. This was originally was a sbc 350 and turbo 400 ( which I still have the numbers matching engine) but it was converted with a fully built roller hi performance engine and transmission which is what is in it now. California car, where it spent most its life and is 95% rust free, it has two small spots on the driver side quarter panel (picture included) I bought this car from a relative who has owened it since 2002 and before that it was purchased new from a another relative who no longer is alive. He was making this a fun street performance car but he lost momentum and stopped the build. The car starts, stops, runs and drives but isn't road worthy yet. I'd say this car needs a good solid weekend left to complete and enjoy. Car does have a factory 12 bolt rear end and has upgraded shocks and coils as well as hotchkis rear trailing arms. The interior id say is a 8/10. There aren't any major stains, rips or flaws it's in very good condition. The body could use a good wet sand and clean up, its not perfect but in pretty good shape. The original owner did a repaint in the early 1970s but other than that it's mostly in great shape. This car has a built hi performance small block and transmission in it. The engine is a Chevrolet hi-performance full roller racing engine and that will work great for circle track, drag, pro-street, or hi-performance marine racing. I am selling the entire drive train as a whole and I will not part out or separate. The engine comes complete from oil pan to intake with heads, roller cam, roller lifters, balancer, flexplate, ocker arms, girdles, carb, ignition system, electric water pump, headers and more. The engine is a custom build with new parts. The engine has a 4.175 bore, a 3.750 stroke, and a 6 inch rod-- it is approximately 408 cubic inches. The block is a hi-nickel block with billet steel splayed main caps and arp main bolts. The pistons are SRP flat top pistons grooved for valve clearance. Can include JE .200 dome pistons if we get close to asking price. The rods are forged 4340 steel H-beam with 7/16 cap screws. The crankshaft is a 5140 forged steel crank that is cross-drilled nitrided and internally balanced with Mallory metal. The camshaft is a Lunati .600+ lift mechanical roller and the lifters are comp cam solid roller lifters. The cylinder heads are Topline heads with 230cc intake runner and a 64cc combustion chamber. The valve springs are 1.450 triple spring with titanium retainers. The valves are 2.050 intake and a 1.600 exhaust. The intake is an Edelbrock Super Victor with a 4150 carb flange. The Oil pan is a Moroso Oil pan. The harmonic balancer is an SFI 6 inch, and the flexplate is a heavy-duty TCI. The camshaft is a .648/.645 lift 261/270 duration @ 2050 with a love seperation of 108. The RPM power band is 3400-7800.
