This particular 240z car was originally orange but was painted white. The engine was rebuilt in 2012. It is a 3.0 Liter withLD28 stroker crank, Arias Forged Pistons, P90 head with a street cam andKameari adjustable timing sprocket. The compression ratio is 9.6 : 1 and has avery flat torque curve all the way up to a redline set at 7000. Thetransmission is a 5speed B type out of a late 70's 280Z. The clutch is aCenterforce dual friction with a Fidanza aluminum flywheel. The differential isan R200 3.9. The car has been lowered on Eibach springs and KYB struts. Allelectrical relay upgrades have been installed. 60Amp Alternator, H4 headlightsrunning off of a relay, Retrosound head unit with 4 Polk Audio speakers and LEDinterior and gauge lighting. Has a Momo Prototypo steering wheel. The interioris in very good shape and the dashboard is an original without cracks, one minorblemish. I have all of the original front clip parts that I removed forpersonal taste that will be included with the sale. In 2016 I had found rustbuilding up in the car’s “doglegs” and so I had a local car restorer cut thedoglegs out replace them with new metal along with coating the interior withPOR15 to prevent future issues. The rust did not get to any structural areas ofthe unibody, the rust that was found was removed and replaced. Floor pans and frame rails have some dingsbut are rust free and structurally sound. It always been garaged and was verywell maintained but the previous owner who had the car painted a different color white. The paint quality is not the greatest, but it is holding up well. The car is completely functional in every respect, save for a dash clock.Received a new brake booster and master cylinder in 2013 along with brakevacuum lines. Received new aluminum Champion radiator in 2014. Received a new marine grade deep cyclebattery in 2017. Received a new startermotor in 2018. Received a new MSA 3-2 exhaust header in 2019.This car strikes a balance between original and modified that draws lots of attention and appreciation without becoming an overly modified hassle to own or operate. It's great touring car as it sits, or it could be a great starting point for building for your track car, you decide. |
