1959 Oldsmobile Ninety-EightLove this car, but divorce forces sale. A great driver with no serious issues. Interior seats are original; power front seat works. A little like driving around in a living room with 6 sets of seatbelts. Not concours, but in nice driver condition. As a concession to safety, the under-floor Treadle-Vac power brake system (prone to catastrophic failure) was converted to a more modern dual-chamber master cylinder (easily sourced Corvette style) and booster, mounted up on the firewall. It works, and looks like it belongs. Mileage is unknown (eBay requires a number in the field). The carburetor was recently rebuilt, and it starts and runs well. A massive car cover will be in the trunk.A rare car nowadays, you’ll likely never see one coming the other way. In 15 years of ownership, I never even saw one, besides mine, at a car show. It garners a tremendous amount of attention on the street - be ready to answer questions! My misfortune is your nice day. Ultimately, the Olds must be sold, and all reasonable offers will be considered. Advertised locally as well, seller reserves the right to remove the listing, if necessary.Any and all inquiries welcome. |
