Imagine going to you local Pontiac dealer and walking in and seeing this black beauty! The car is only 20724 miles from new. That is only 519 miles per year on the average!! I knew the original owner, he was my neighbor back in 1995. We both had a love for classic cars and I tried to buy this car the first time Jerry lifted the cover. He told me quickly it was not for sale and proceeded to tell me he bought the car new in Colorado in 1979 Over the years I saw him drive it from time to time but for the most part it sat inside his shop under the cover! I only lived by Jerry till 2000. It was then that I moved away and lost touch with the car. Fast forward to 2019. I was talking with my Doctor and he said his Nephew had car that he would sell. So I went to take pics of the car,. WOW was I shocked to see my old friend Jerry's car. The current owner bought the car from Wanda, Jerry's wife. Unfortunately Jerry had went to that big garage in the sky and Wanda kept the car for many years but she was downsizing and selling the shop and decided to sell the TA at that time as well. Ok, now that I have bored you with my history with this car I will tell you a little about it. I have been a mechanic most of my 56 years. I know a good dependable car when I see and hear and drive it. This is a good one You could drive this car home. The original owner Jerry he was very picky about how this car looked and performed. he took extra good care of this car. When it was in his shop it was always covered just as it's covered inside a garage today. The car started its life with silver paint. Jerry wanted it black so approx 20 years ago he had it painted, It was not a cheep paint job it was a show winning paint job. I looked and could find not a speck of silver. The underside of the car is as clean as the top side. This Trans Am runs and drives like NEW. It has a new battery and recent tires. Fly in and drive it home. Only thing I noticed that needs to be fixed is the headliner inside the car is hanging down towards the back seat area. The car says 6.6 on the shaker. It actually has a 4.9. The 4.9 in this car has heart and it will smoke both the rear tires with ease. We encourage you to seriously consider the investment in this car.
